Rain

The heavens,
Crying, so passionately,
Falling ever so sinuous,
Broken.

Crying for the broken hearts,
Of those who truly cared.
Those who gave their very best,
But only arrived at heartache.

Crying for the lonely,
For those who never tried.
Never did they ever have a chance,
Empty and alone, they died.

Tears of the heavens,
Cry for me tonight,
My heart has been shattered,
I have nothing.
