Greedy Cookie

by Sarah   Apr 6, 2008

A jar of cookies
Stood there before me-
Just one crunch
Will turn me so happy

Yet unmoving,
The cookies looked greedy
A mouth waiting to be
So cluttered and messy

Just one bite,
Just one crunch
It is still gazing
Longing for a touch

There it lies,
So tasty and happy
It is now saying, please-
Bite me-

I agree with Ingrid. :) Imagination goes a long way to a very beautiful and divine poem, and I understand the significance of such. :) You did a very good job. I enjoyed it. 5/5
