The Day She Left Me

A long day at work,
I walk through the door,
I had no idea,
The hell that's in store,

I hang up my coat,
And walk down the hall,
I noticed this letter,
Pinned to the wall,

I looked at its words,
And what did it say?
I found someone else,
And I'm leaving today,

I'll be back in a bit,
To pick up my things,
I felt played like a puppet,
But she cut off my strings,

Rage erupted from within,
Murder on the mind,
Some rope and duck tape,
Is what I shall find,

I'll hide behind the door,
With a big baseball bat,
And as she walks in,
That's when I'll attack,

Like a lion to it's prey,
I lay here in wait,
Listening for her car,
To bring her that fate,

Listen to that noise,
I hear keys in the lock,
Never again,
Will I ever be mocked,

She entered the house,
And saw me in rage,
I swung with my might,
And crushed that sweet face,

The blood painted the walls,
As she fell to the floor,
I hit three more times,
Because I want more,

I pulled forth my gasoline,
To make a flaming hell,
So it can cover the evidence,
Of what happened in this tale,

I stuffed her in a bag,
Wrapped her in rope,
I tossed in a lighter,
For the fire and smoke,

I took her to my truck,
And drove to the place,
I slammed on the gas,
Like it was a race,

Finally we made it,
We have got here at last,
For there will be no more evidence,
After this acid bath.
