A Broken Promise

I promise ill love you forever, I promise well stay together
But you have been gone now for 3 years, and I haven't seen you this is one of my fears
I have sat here not leaving, waiting for your receiving
Now 6 years have past, I did not complete my task
She arrives to make a quick pass, but upon entering notices he's passed
He sits there eyes shut closely, must have died lonely
She drops to her knees, shouting out pleas
I'm sorry I hurt you, I'm sorry I hurt you!
She finds a note, in his coat

Baby I'm sorry I hurt you, I'm sorry I hurt you
I wish you would have told me, what I did to make you lonely
Please forgive me, listen to me clearly
I promise ill love you forever, I promise well stay together
