A Lost friend

A Lost Friend

We meet at a young age, I don't remember what grade
We played during recess, we played for no reason
We went to Jr High, we tried to be sly
Cheating on all them test, that class was crap but she was the best
In high school we got in some trouble, being chassed you were knocked into rubble
Now graduation, its time for separation
It's now been years, and now my worst fears
I dress in black and pack my sleeping bag, head to the funeral my lives at a lag
Six feet under but you're not alone, remember the promise ill be here when you go
The people all leave, I lost my friend this is hard to believe
I lay out my bag, scoot over you old hag
I lay down to sleep, but in the morning I don't weep
Remember my promise; ill be here when you go
I never wake up, thanks for waiting up
Now I am happy, no longer feel crappy
Remember my promise; ill be here when you go.
I promised

-FTG- Dedicated to all of my best friends.
