Something More.

by Megan   Apr 12, 2008

He said, Girl its a long walk between here and New York City.
She shook her head and said I know.
I look up at the stars and I know that theres more to life then this small town.
More to the dulling grass and aging trees.
Theres more then the blue walls of my school.
The yellow bus, my blue headphones.
The skin of my enemies.
And the faces of my friends.
Theres more then this house has to offer.
And theres more to myself I've yet to discover.
I'd walk hundreds of miles, to figure out what life is really about.
For whoever stays here, Is bound to be buried by the fantasies of what could be.
And in my heart, I know theres more to me.
