RECOVERY

by Fay   Apr 14, 2008

She is starting to see it right in front of her eyes,
She has finally forgotten about her constant cries.
She is on her way to happiness road,
There she wishes to remain and sing an ode.

Her wounds have healed and left no scars,
Her past life was like living behind steel bars.
Now she sits and watches her past unfold,
With memories she no longer wants to hold.

She waited and waited so many years,
All she ever accomplished was the shedding of tears.
It's all different now, he came and saved me,
Out of my darkness and misery.

Seeing the beauty of each day,
Smiling through all her way.
It was all about her mind,
Who put shadows on her eyes and made them blind.

Blind from the world of joy,
As if she were an abandoned toy.
No longer needed or satisfying,
Just placed in a corner and sighing.

It's all real, not a dream, no more fears,
Laughter is all she now hears.

P.S. She is finally recovering from her depression, comments would be much appreciated thanx luv Fay ;).
