I've Never...

by Steven Alexander M   Apr 23, 2008

I’ve never really known what love meant,
Until the day I met you,
The way I feel when I’m around you,
As if time stays still when,
When minuets are hours,
Day turns to night and I’m feeling high as I’m looking into your eyes,
Getting hypnotized, forgetting where I’m at as we close our eyes and slow dance, taking the chance to be judged bye people who think we are foolish for feeling the way we do, in the middle of our park,
Feeling the spark as our lips touch,
And all eyes are on us, and all I see is you.

I’ve never known what a true kiss felt like,
Until I’ve kissed you,
The warmth from our temperature rising,
And the sweet sweet taste of your lip-gloss,
And your so soft tongue,
While your left hand reaches over my shoulder,
Rubbing on my neck, with that soft exotic skin.

I’ve never known this type of feeling before,
I’ve never really thought about love,
But as time goes on, I realize that you are the one I love,
You say give it time,
I say… I want you to be mine,
To treat you right,
Always and Forever,
Making you smile.

Awww, this is the sweetest poem ever. I give it a 5. Keep up the good work. I also like the way you let the mood of the poem show through. Good job.
