Song of Harmony

by TheRapture03   Apr 30, 2008

She sings her songs of love and such
She'll never know I love her as much

A songbird sits alone in a tree
Singing his song of harmony

She sits up at night staring at the moon
I lay awake in bed, thinking just of you
She sits up at night, wanting me by her side
Just call me baby, and I'll be there in no time

I need her now, like never before
Just need to see, her smiling face once more

As for the songbird, he's flown away
Flying down, into the dawning day

I see her lying all alone in her bed
Visions of her lover, flashing through her head
And so I lay down, so very close to her
Whisper in her ear, "Baby, you're my world"

He sang his song of harmony
All night long, to his lovely lady
Morning comes, and much to his delight
She says, "I love you baby, what a wonderful night"
