Hate

by Brad Quammen   May 1, 2008

I hate the way you own my soul,
As hard as it is to say,
I wither in my own abyss,
Each and every day
To feel the way i do
to really have no control
to be so weak as I regret
to be so tempted to tell what lies within
reminds me of mans original sin

I hate the sun,the way it sets
reminds my heart of all regrets
Insane are my minds desires
inflamed is my passion
Eternal is the pain of life
an everlasting hell
To care for one such fallen angel,
though I have never known
to resist would be so careless,
yet so ideal for the fear of countless reason
In my own world,I'm all alone
holding my breath in that very abyss
in which I can't last

But within every instant,
in every waking yawn
I shall always feel this way,
from dusk until the dawn
Evil is the touch of love,
forever is the pain
one dash of its existence
is enough to go insane
So my only advice to you,
whomever you may be
Acknowledge all existence
and ponder on what may be.
