Cosmos

by Lonely Rider   May 2, 2008

What's beyond the blue,
For centuries it intrigued,
Shimmers the faintest star,
A fading beam, afar...

What lies ahead??

Convoluted patterns of blue and red,
Clusters of varied composition,
Emit intense radiation,
Thousand queries still born,
Answers hidden in the unknown..

Obscurity veils the Cosmos,
Mystery still to be unfold.

^Mystery still to be unfold. ^

This line doesn't sound quite right..... Mystery yet to unfold....left unfolded...

The rest of the poem was absolutely amazing. Vivid imagery and a very articulate word choice. i love nature poems especially in regards to our mysterious universe. You captured the beauty of the unknown well. Excellent job!

I really liked this poem, but I think it could have been a little longer.
Other then that this was pretty good.
    I gave it a 5/5
