Those Sweet Words I Wish To Hear.

Your actions speak louder than words.

I say this because, actions is all I get from you.
I rarely ever hear you speak those sweet words I wish to hear.

Oh, how much I want to hear those sweet words spoke to me.
But, that's just in my dreams.

I don't think we'll ever be much more than we are today,
But if that's what you want, then it'll have to be that way.

I hope for more each day, but I don't get anything from you.
No words are spoke to me, actions are all I recieve; day after day.

I just don't understand, I never have.
I just don't get your logic.
I'm completely blind-sided.
I have no idea what your thinking, or what I'm even thinking.

I've wasted all this time on someone who doesn't even love me,
And now I have to pay the price.

When will you ever open up to me?
Or, when will I ever open up to you?

I think about this over and over each day,
and I can't come to a conclusion.
And, I probably never will.

I don't get what it takes to be "yours."
but, I will do whatever that is.
I just can't give up. There's no reason to.
I need to give it my all, and my time to shine is now.
And if I fall, I fall.
But at least, I can look back and say I did something I've always wanted to do.
And, I hope that this results in what I've always hoped for.
