And Then There Is This Girl (May 22, 2008)

by Ian Robert   May 23, 2008

She gets so angry then looks up and thanks me
Awoke to a call one oh six in the morning
So lonely but what do you do when hes been out scoring
Probably doesnt listen to her if he really thinks shes that boring

I can read every word pretty lips dont say through your glistening eyes
Act real tough but Ive been hurt enough to know
How to sew up a broken heart with a bit of ego
Problem is when you stop faking it you finally start aching

They said wed have to be painstaking about this phase
But whatever loves like some sort of elegant maze
Where you can so easily get lost in a daze
But if you behave youll end up with someone to amaze

If you dont understand then please let me rephrase
The breeze is so lovely under the suns bright rays
These days are so long even more so without you
Its true the hue of something better resides this song

Dont you know I need help to sing
Id love to go wild and tell a story like these past few days
By myself I swing in this playground and all around
These dark skies light up with your complexion

The direction to a better day lets me breathe deep and
For ******* once I feel like I got enough out of a day
Actually want to stay but I got to go home
All alone I write and express, caress memories I made them, Ill save them too.
