For The Family

by Bill Turner   May 23, 2008

Steel slick with warm blood...
Buried to the hilt beneath his arm
Hands blindly clutching at my shoulders...
Die you SOB slipping from my lips, shrouded in mist
Mouth hanging open...
Blood dripping from his now forked tongue
Never touch my family whispered in his ear
Thrusting the blade deeper still...
A second blade finding a home
Hitting the throat with a slicing motion...
Silence replaced with a gurgle...
Struggle taken from your soul...
Body left for all to see...
This was personal, for my family

    Bill,
Yikes! This was great. Filled with so much anger and rage. It also brought to light the things we do for revenge .....for the family.
Lord knows if someone hurt mine I would be in the position of the character. It would be hard to say that justice would be considered justice any other way. Excellent write my friend.
