Perfection

Perfection

Fire burns inside me.
This enchanting sensation from the glance
of unmeasurable beauty,
these eyes focused upon me,
with engaging acceptance,
make me finally notice my hearts existence.

What sensual expression as you slowly and gracefully pull
on the colorless string your gaze has tied around my waist.
As a puppet in your hands do I wish to fulfill your desires!

You make these legs begin to move
towards the direction the spell has been cast.
To be just a tool in your hands I would feel complete.

Closer I stride until inches away
I face your remarkable stature
utterly breathless.

I have never witnessed such perfection in great detail
My awestruck appearance must make you wonder
what this mind conjures within:
I have only dreamed the touch of an angel before
and I never believed it would come to be.

My body surges with exhilaration
as you stretch your hand towards my face
and stroke it gently.
Such ecstasy is the warmth of our skin pressed together.

I patiently wait to awake as I do in this commonly conjured fantasy
but this time my eyes are wide open.
I must execute the final test to know this is a tangible reality.
I must do something my head could never supplicate
Even in my most lucid illusionary nights.

With my heart pounding so hard It might escape from my chest,
I lean in to kiss those luscious lips I have stared at for so long and we collide.

The feeling is completely indescribable.
For once I feel alive.
For once I am not dreaming.

    This feeling is completely indescribable.
    For once I feel alive.
For once I am not dreaming.........

This poem sure brought back memories:)
I remember how it felt to be in love for the first time and how it felt when it was returned.
You have captured that feeling in a beautiful way within this verse.
    Very sweet and loving:)

    Take care,

    Ingrid
