Revolution is Innate.

by Natalie   May 30, 2008

This revolution is innate to every individual,
Mankind's rebellion awaits your contribution.

Lost within the depth of my mind,
Searching for a revelation that will dictate,
The perfect formula for mankind's next revolution,
The solution to this capitalistic dictatorship.

Thought patterns requiring clarification -
The process of finding one's self.

Sporadic desires emptying our souls,
Spiraling chaotically towards demise.
So detrimentally horrified by change,
Our ignorant minds crave monotony.

This revolution is innate to every individual,
Mankind's rebellion awaits your contribution.

Staring at an animated box, wishing materialism,
Excuses seem abundant, you only fool yourself.
Reality depicts your indifference, your luxurious comfort.
Who cares about that beautiful Iraqi girl being raped?

Though patterns requiring clarification -
The process of finding one's self.

A government sadistically inclined toward greed,
Masses of people 'angry,' and yet apathetic,
Ignoring the power that lies within each one of them,
They tragically chose prosperity above humanity.

This revolution is innate to every individual,
Mankind's rebellion awaits your contribution.

This poem was one of the best I've ever read from you. Hard to understand first time you read it. But once you re-read it. Its perfect. Your use of wording was perfect. Again you are very creative and make me see things in a new light.

This reminded me of Henry David.

You already know how I feel about how shitty the world is being, in particular America. So I can't say much more about this poem other than I totally agree.

The metaphors and word choice were brilliant as usual. And yet another masterpiece of yours. :)

Oh yeah, five out of five.

    Your words are truly inspirational.

This revolution is innate to every individual,
    Mankind's rebellion awaits your contribution.
^ Without the participation of the masses the human race and its dying platform will perish into oblivion.

    Sporadic desires emptying our souls,
    Spiraling chaotically towards demise.
    So detrimentally horrified by change,
    Our ignorant minds crave monotony.
^To save our world, we must first search ourselves to find the truth of exsistence and so make it a life worth living. Once we free our minds we will see the world with clear vision and open heart.

Staring at an animated box, wishing materialism,
Excuses seem abundant, you only fool yourself.
Reality depicts your indifference, your luxurious comfort.
Who cares about that beautiful Iraqi girl being raped?
^We are blindly brainwashed by the political machine. We are all automated robots programmed by the media, which is given orders by the goverment. We won't care about the raped girl unless we break free from out program.

A government sadistically inclined toward greed,
Masses of people 'angry,' and yet apathetic,
Ignoring the power that lies within each one of them,
They tragically chose prosperity above humanity.
^This stanza is fantastic. It really makes you want to fight for our indepent voices. United we can fight a dictator and show them they can no longer use their bully tactics.

I will vote for this, bless it with wings so it can fly!
