Best Friend.

I remember how it used to be...
You were my best friend.
But now that time has come to an abrupt end.
You don't feel my anymore.
You've stopped caring;
You've found someone else that means more.

You were the only one who cared.
You were the only one that called.
The only one that really seemed to bother at all...
But now it's over.
The battle's done.
The battle between my better self, and the less confident one.
I guess the lesser half won.

Now I'm sitting here and all I can think of is what it is that I've done wrong.
And all I can think of is the incredibly sad song that always reminds me of you.
...You were my life.
You were my reason.
You were my other half.
And now it's gone.

I walk around...
half of myself missing.
I havent been able to stop crying since then.
I hope you that you've broken my heart.
Now I'm empty, and torn apart.

And now I'll sit here...
wondering if you ever really cared.

One day you'll wake up and realize that i was always there.
But maybe the next day you'll wake up and realize that I am NOT there.
