Whispers of Maybe (Song)

Whispers of Maybe

V1
Whispers of maybe
Are calling to me
Holding a promise
Of what could be
They come in the silence
A siren's song
Could they be right
Could I be wrong?

V2
Whispers of maybe
Wear a disguise
Dressed up in folly
And words to the wise
With only a hint
Of perfumed air
And all my heart hopes for
Waits for me there

Bridge 1
Like half remembered dreams
So much seems to be just within reach
Or infinite grains of sand
Now I understand life's an endless beach
They're leading me on
Whispers of Maybe

V3
Whispers of maybe
Might be worthwhile
When they tell me
To walk one more mile
Though I want to rest
Though I need to sleep
I could be heading
To a place so deep

Bridge 2
Something beckons to me
Could there be something more?
Will it turn out a better place
Than any I've faced before?
They're leading me on
Whispers of Maybe

Doesn't the world revolve around maybe's. Seems as if we eliminate the maybes and only were given yes or no's the fight for hope would be gone. Too many no's would result in the faith of people being gone.
    Wonderful Read.
