As i lay awake at night
Simple tears roll down my face
Soon the sobs will come
And fill me with disgrace

The thought of being without you
Takes my breath away
But knowing you don't care
Is worse then i can say

The memories fill my head
With thoughts of you and me
My mind replays our love
With trust and honesty

How could you leave me alone
And change your mind so quick
Knowing how i care for you
The deception makes me sick

But as i lay here in the darkness
Its like you are still here
My mind wanders to places
Where the pain can disappear

Confusion fills my head
And thoughts of every fight
But tears keep streaming down
