No Matter How They Try

No matter how they try,
It always seems to me,
That people cannot get to,
Quite where they want to be.

Are they trying hard enough?
Is it a fault of theirs?
Or shortcomings of society,
That cause so much despair?

Fulfilling our targets,
And living out our dreams,
Is not really impossible,
It's just the way it seems.
