I Could Wish For Better

by Paralyzed   Jun 9, 2008

I'd never ask for anything,
That wasn't mine to take,
Prideful in my wicked ways,
Sleeping or awake.

I'd never say a single word,
I didn't really mean,
Words, the most important thing,
The truth is so serene.

I'll never cry a single day,
For love that I have lost,
If I held it and still failed,
That lesson is my cost.

I'll never fail to let you know,
The feelings I surmise,
And even when you doubt it all,
You'll see it in my eyes.

I could wish for better things,
Life forever altered,
I'd rather have the things I've earned,
Even when I've faltered.

I swear, you are gonna be famous one day!

you pieces seem so unforced and relaxed and just smooth like it doesn't seemed pushed or defyed by gravity, if you now what i mean

but you have a real good style of writing and never try to write like anyone else or fixed you style to be like anyone else
