Death Laced Love

by Painted Persona   Jun 11, 2008

Bare soles planted firmly upon bemire hilltops
The breeze passes auburn strands along her eyes
His familiar hand brushes her face once more
Sweet aroma of gasoline left upon her cheek...

"It's almost time Precious"

Her matched stained hands extending
Reaching for the cropped feathers he's brought her
Painted black - angelic grace does not need these
She is his unholy angel.

"Baby, watch them burn with me"

Creatures from heaven falling from the clouds
Burning corpuses reflect in his cerulean eyes
Midnight moon bleeding their love
Oh hear the passion from blazing screams.

Nothing could be this beautiful...

Daemons dance around their pleading bodies
Floating ash swirls, leaving charred remnants
She gives him the gift of death,
their gift of a lifetime.

He pushes the feathers into her spine once more,
Her gratified smile lets him know it's all right
How lovely the burnt wings look upon her
Laced in gasoline...

Wow this is so creatively expressed. Death is interesting on its own, but in this piece it is so eliquently dark that it is excellently penned into this piece. There is a message within a message, which should be a common thing however here it is not. I love this piece, as I think many should. The word choice in this is immaculate, the flow is stunning, the emotion is deffinately present, tone was set and continued the whole way through, I am stunned. You have created beauty in such a short piece, with only a few skills. Fantastic. Amazing. 5/5
