Robin's Life

by xoxSwissCheesexox   Jun 12, 2008

Pockets of sunshine, brightly outside
Comes a little robin, sitting on a branch
Mother robin appears with food for the young
Chanting and singing as the young eats

Sitting on the branches in the month of June
Cat comes and climbs the tree,
Robins flying out of sight,
The cat tries with all his might.

Flying up high in the sky comes the wind,
Blowing softly, growing harder
Birds start to flee.

Robins fly away, the cat gives up,
The wind dies down,
the moon rises, the sun is gone.

Sleep time is here,
we all rest quietly,
We say good-night until the next day.

I like this a lot, and what you wrote about! Oh, and I really love your ending, saying the sun is gone and the day is done, etc..........
Nice work and please keep writing! :)
