Chaotic Reasoning

by cory   Jun 15, 2008

Order lost in chaos
In the center of my mind
They seem like different things
But they are intertwined

On one hand you have order
Being civil as can be
On the other you have chaos
Wrought on fate and destiny

Holding high a standard
Can quickly lead you to a fall
And investing in a gamble
Won't seem childish at all

You'll embrace new idea's
Just as quickly as they come
Just don't get too caught up
Or forget about the sum

When tempers flare against you
Try to not forget
You catch more flies with honey
Don't get lured to the pit

And if you are a puppet
At least try to hide your strings
Cause when life comes at you fast
It is too late to spread your wings

Loved the final verse most of all, really tied it all up well, a very poetic and fitting end to it.
