Your Life Is Where It's Supposed to Be

by Chris Rodriguez   Jun 15, 2008

The life of a lover is thought to be that of a sentimental maniac
And is brought down by narcissistic egos all of which are glorified by hypochondriacs
Who wish to live between the distance of the moon and the sun

Never to be freed of their inane prisons
Which were given to them by the minds of the destitute, who do pollute, the sacred fruit, of other minds who are in pursuit of a conscious greater than one

Nature does not allow the creatures of the earth to tread upon gods hand with the intentions of being alone
Upon a bare, blank, clear, vacant, vacuous, and void state of mind, the creatures of the earth are meant to be in simultaneous union with that of another

Such unanimity is achieved through the conscious of another other
Not to be mistaken by the consensus of a unperceptive abandoner
A doomed wanderer who's self-righteous actions of egocentricity has left him or her out of their nexus, hurting their autonomic plexus

Because they think they can constitute the resolute perceptions of an uncontrollable sporadic world
They are left with a false perception of selfless endearment, and I am of course talking about: love

LOVE!

Yes I am the percussionist of the factor of forever
To supply a beat that vibrates of the tone of a different heartbeat
And I see a three-peat when the undermining of a great new frequency is brought to me as the unrealistic blabber of a messed up kid who had nothing but love inside of him!

But I regress...

I do not know what such a strong bond feels like outside my door
It is the product of recycled relationships that required dysfunctional and de-formative thoughts to be nothing more than the norm
Because you see outside my door I try to stay as the collaborative collective conscious that does not change their colors because they are afraid of a heightening evil that feeds on the fear of displacement

Because the colors do change everyday my unity with current frequencies is receptive

So when you tell me not to "dwell on things"
Because it is evidence that you use to exemplify your right to be a contradiction of your own self-righteous decisions so that you don't have to face the consequences of your own mediocrity
Because you try to see yourself in the worst possible way is not self-actualized perception of your own love
It is just a complex form of running away...
Running away from the life that you touched in me
And the happiness that you stole from yourself

When you tell me"Your life is where it's supposed to be"
I know that is true
And when my future sons and daughters are here with me I will acclaim hereafter that life is lived from the eyes of the only one who knows them best: themselves
And I will teach them through, writing, painting, dreams, drama, languages, photography, crafts, songs, music, instruments, and through love, and love

So when you tell me that your life is where it's supposed to be
Is it really true?
But today there is just me and you
And I am here before you
So what are you going to do?

I'm adding you as a favourite. You write way beyond your years, in styles I thoroughly enjoy, on emotions and attitudes set in a far-reaching and positive manner.

If you've not done before, check out the work of the British hip-hop poet Scroobius Pip. I feel you may enjoy his words.
