Drug of Choice

The drug of love gets you so high.
A feeling of hello, but never goodbye.
It sees the truth, never the lie.
Ask a question, it gives a reply.
What a feeling, you cannot deny.
Beaten or broken, give it a try.
Happy or sad, it still makes you cry.
Witness the beauty through the eye,
Something that feels like you can fly.
One heart, which you should never defy.
The drug of love is the perfect high.
