Toxic Lullaby

by Hey Brittknee   Jun 19, 2008

Upon darkened dreary thunder clouds, lined with silver strings
there lies the kiss of death upon, the lips that never sing

and the words flow through my head again, in an everlasting flow
the words they whisper in my veins, "it's a secret you'll never know"

like ripples they flow into my head, and reverberate off my skull
a never ending feeling of pain, like a blade that's just too dull

and like nails upon a chalkboard, I bite my tongue between my teeth
cause tonight I'll sing that toxic lullaby, to this world filled with grief

I'll kiss those lips with utmost courage, more than any seen before
and I'll sing their toxic lullaby, as my body hits the floor

upon darkened dreary thunder clouds, lined with silver strings
there lies the kiss of death upon, the lips that never sing
