Losing What Mattered

On deaf ears these words will fall
The utterance of a grievous call
These tears fall from bloodshot eyes
No one's here to hear these cries

The fallen pick themselves up to mend
Just to fall back down again
Loving words are left unspoken
Promises made are broken

Romance was found at little cost
But once again the love was lost
The love was found, then taken away
No loving words were left to say

    AMAZING!!! I absolutely love it. The second stanza was my favorite, I don't know why but something about it just spoke to me. Once again the rhyming and the flow worked perfectly together and really made this poem wonderful. It was amazing and got the point across. I love it. Totally being added to my faves! 5/5.
