Princess

by courtney   Jun 25, 2008

One more time
All shame will take form
And a suffering unimaginable
Will cover her throne
With silk lacing her cheeks
And a satin dress
That conceals the scars
As if they can miss
And she will turn the other way
As she walks by his fortress
So that if by any chance he is looking
The pain wont persist
And she will hide away
All the precious memories
And passion will swear
To never be seen
Her face will uncover
Only in night's promising fate
Where no light from the sun
Will expose her hate
Only the moon
In all its majesty
Will reveal any symptom
Of her foolish heartbreak
