Default

by Tina Carr AKA Snickers   Jun 28, 2008

It pains me to tell you good night,
For fear of what may come tomorrow.
And everyone looks forward
To our predicted sorrow.

With guys looking to play me,
And girls looking to tempt you,
I just can't help but worry... I mean,
What's a girl to do?

Being with a guy like you,
It's tough not to be suspicious
That maybe you'd want a girl
More charming or ambitious.

I don't mean to offend,
But I just can't ever tell.
I guess I'll try my best to thwart
My tendency to dwell.

Hopefully my thoughts
Won't bring this to a halt....
Though I really wish you'd assure me
That I'm not just your default.
