The Night

We sat there
In your bed that night
Not speaking
Just happy to be together

My first love
What a great feeling
Are fingers intertwined
You felt so warm

What a night
I felt so safe
But yet so vulnerable
And I loved it

As time goes by
I can't help but think about that night
Your arms so tight around me
Nothing could go wrong

If there ever comes a day
When we see are separate ways
I just hope to god
You wont forget that night
