Broken Hearts don't mend

by Lonely Rider   Jul 4, 2008

Broken Hearts don't mend

Little heart tucked up at left
Pumping vital life force
Plethora of emotions stored
Of love, affection and remorse

Most sensitive to pain
Too tricky to comprehend
Care with genuine compassion
For broken hearts don't mend

Wipe off someone's tear
Be careful when you chide
Shower abundant smiles
The joy is reflected inside

Heart breaks silently
To endure they are designed
Even if you try to stitch
Scars linger behind.

Most definitely my favorite part! Because it's so true to most! No matter how much a person tries, if they've been hurt really badly, then they can never really ENTIRELY heal.. they just keep their minds off it to 'get over it', for the most part. :3 lovely!
