Un-broken Fairytale

I'll come to you on the silent midnight breeze
speaking my words that only your heart sees
I ask the stars above for you to hear my voice
and realize that you do have a choice
You can stay and hurt or you can spread your wings
and fly to the stars where your heart will sing
Let these words be my arms holding you tight
to keep you safe and warm all through the night
So take these words and know that it's true
that in some form I'll be there with you
Hard to believe in this age and day
some friends don't leave- some of us stay
Listen to your heart, to those words left unspoken
and you will see the fairy-tale's unbroken

    I liked this poem. It was well written and I like your style. I don't believe you have to separate your poems into stanzes to fit a particular mold. Write however feels natural to yourself. The great poets of our time did not follow rules on how to write their poems. They just lets the words flow and come out of their very souls. I feel as though this poem was flowing from yours. I liked it a lot. I look forward to reading the rest of your poems.

    btw... your poems are msot recent than mine... I have had serious writer's block for quite some time. But if I post any new poems I will be sure to let you know. I am adding you to my favorite authors. I hope that is ok.
