I'm That Girl

by Sydney Huddy   Jul 15, 2008

I'm that girl,
The girl that no one sees.
That one with all the answers,
With solutions for all but me.

My life is all but Fiction,
My heart cries out in vain.
I'm the girl who gave her life for you,
Despite the jolts of pain.

That girl who falls too easily,
The one who never learns.
The one who can't be controlled,
The one for who everyone yearns.

Yea I'm the girl you shoved around,
Yet the one who you were close to.
I'm the one who told you everything,
Thinking I could trust you.

I'm the one who's gone through hell,
The one you took for granted.
The one who still lives her life,
Surprisingly unslanted.

Don't try to knock me over,
Don't hate that I stand strong.
For despite all your greatest efforts sweetie,
I'm still right, & you're all wrong.
