The Greatest feats of Man

by Ronald McDonald   Jul 17, 2008

The Greatest feats of Man
So wondrous and grand
Do but hover before mine eyes
Just moments from my grasp
Humanity’s dream shines clear and bright
That which is accomplished each night
Never to touch the morning light
I am the demon before the gates
Without the key
I stand here alone blinded and enamored
With what I will forever, dream
Of holding with these clumsy hands
Whose idle play does to disappointment send away
My faintest hope
An unassailable, unattainable utopia
Of worthy action justly repaid
With the merit of my worth
