Across My Face

Falling downward with
out a hand to hold
'Heart broken' is written
across my my face in
tears so bold
Holding my head up high
is getting a little harder
You would think after all
these times I'd get a
little smarter
But I keep putting my
heart out there
But it's only because I
want to know how it
feels like to have some
one to care
I want to know how it
feels to have someone
really in love
But all I can do is pray
