Why Oh Why

by Extinct Angel   Jul 23, 2008

Flame and ash rise
Through the earth
As the creature before
Her rose up and called
Her name, from this
Memories that had
Once haunted the young
Woman once again became
Alive in her mind
The raped of her mother
And the sins of her father
Beyond measure the darkest
Recesses of her mind became
Utter reality as the insanity
Came forth to claim the one
It had seeked long ago
The scars on her arm ripped open
And the tears turned into blood
Violently her life came
Crashing down all around her
In her mind she tried to
Talk to god but only Satan spoke back
Do not be afraid my little
One I mean you no harm
I just wish to bring you
To where you belong
For it was you that did not give in
To that thing you called dad
Your mother was the one
He had to have
Then what about
These cuts on your arm
Don't you know this is a sin
Even if so blissed you sealed
Your fate with deaths
Last kiss why do you
Resist why oh why
Then admist the
Clouds of toxic ash
The voice rand out
Do her no harm Lucifer
Can you not see she
Has repented upon thee
She has gained
Faith in my eyes
As only she could
See the evil
You caused this
Poor little girl
And as he receded
She began to ascend
To heaven to be in the grace
Finally with one last
Shriek and snarl
On his face he cried
Out I know my place
The girls eyes open up
And she sees the light
Her mother smiles at her
And says it'll be alright
You in the hospital
We only want to help
The girl looked down and saw
The wounds she had made
She lurched unto god
And her anger voice said
Why oh why did you give me away?

OMG! This is such a powerful write. I have absolutely no words to say, just speechless at the moment. It was so deeply sad and yet the pain and torture of the girl struck through from the start. Amazing piece that deserves all the praise that can be showered!
