Venus Star

by Elapsed   Aug 5, 2008

A transcending light
Illuminating eternity
Passion and delight
Consuming a tranquil night

I've been waiting my whole life
For a smile to take me this high
Loosing the sense of gravity
Elevated so far off the ground

Hoping for an opportunity
To sway in your atmosphere
Shockwaves from a supernova
Form as two galaxies may collide

Floating clouds of wonder
In a nebular of elements
Fears the morning mist
Will soon fade out my Venus star

Isn't it amazing what a smile from someone we love can do to us. Turns your world upside down.
