Tree Carving

We walk in the park
Just me and you
Writing on bark

We draw a heart
With our names
To never be apart

I take the knife
And hold it tight
Start to carve
That wonderful site

The blade makes a mark
On the side of the tree
I start out with an arc

The whole heart
