UNKNOWN REFLECTION

I AM LOOKING IN A MIRROR
BUT WHO IS THAT I SEE BECAUSE
THE GIRL THAT I AM STARING
AT CLEARLY ISN'T ME

OUR FACES ARE THE SAME
AND SO IS OUR HAIR BUT
THERE IS A DIFFERENCE
BECAUSE A SMILE
SHE WEARS

HER EYES TELL A STORY
A STORY I NEVER HEARD
SO HOW CAN SHE BE ME
THAT IS SO ABSURD

SHE IS FULL OF HAPPINESS
WHILE I AM FULL OF PAIN
BUT STILL AS MY REFLECTION
SHE REMAINS

I AM SCARED BECAUSE I
DON'T KNOW HER BUT IT'S
SUPPOSE TO BE ME
BECAUSE I AM LOOKING IN A MIRROR
AND IN A MIRROR YOUR
REFLECTION IS WHAT YOU SEE

HOW CAN I CHANGE THIS IMAGE
THIS IMAGE IS A LIE
WHO IS THAT GIRL
IS SHE EVEN ALIVE

ATLAST I FOUND AN ANSWER
TO THIS REFLECTION THAT
IS UNKNOWN THE GIRL INSIDE THE MIRROR
HAS A LIFE AND HOME

THE GIRL IN THE MIRROR
IS ME BECAUSE THE REFLECTION
I AM STARING AT IS WHO I
PRETEND TO BE

    I pretend all the time that I am happy even if I am not and I want to feel that I have home even tough I know that I don't.

    Fear not for the fealings you share are felt by the young and the old, we who have the the voices the thoughts and the quotes only sacrifice that witch the pen lets us write , your talents are but only snowflake atop mountain of emotions keep the dream hold on to your morning thought and write like the water falls and soon more the of those pains we hide will turn to sunshine.
