Leaving covetous pain behind
Life appreciate it's worthiness
When only love fills our minds

Your love and friendship makes me forget my pain everyday. You are such a special man.

Sky would crack just to bless

This is a familiar feeling, wanting circumstances to be different, distances to be dramatically reduced perhaps?

This is a lovely stanza, beautifully written. If only life could be different and loves gift given every chance to blossom and sing its true song, If only?

Spirits flying through the night
Traveling hot desert sands
Sending all my love to you
Hold it gently in your hands

Such a dreamy sweet verse full of imagery. Words floating, spanning the vast distance. You mention desert, this really creates a distance for me. Love sent maybe by letter, a letter that can be read again and again and kept close to a persons heart.

In the presence of love the sky would crack - wonderful tribute to love, not just any love, perhaps the greatest love of all?
This is clearly a poem about two hearts in love and the anguish felt when distance keeps this love from its physical embrace.

I was so rocked with emotion from this beautiful write. Yes, I know the story behind the friendship and that makes it all the more special to know where the words came from and why. You two share the uncanny ability to finish each others sentences and thoughts. It really shows through in this piece. I had never thought it possible before you two to have a friend soul mate. I honestly thought it was something shared for lovers only.

^ If things were different it may not be what we want. Everything happens for a reason, and for you two to be connected this way is such a treasure. It brings so much for each and their needs.

^ I don't believe the word "would" fit here because of one reason. You do share so much and the tears already smile brightly at the mere mention of the others name.

^I honestly believe this stanza was the key to it all. Your spirits connect in an awesome entanglement. Hold it gently, the heart and the love it gives is very fragile.

Lovely read from the both of you and I never know which stanza is written by whom. It always blends perfectly.

I was just thinking the same thing that it is hard to tell who wrote which stanza. You two mesh well. A dream, a hope, a loving friend across the seas....Beautifully penned, excellent flow....touching...
