Don't Fall For The Dark Eyes And The Light Soul...

by rich sanchez   Aug 20, 2008

Dark eyes
And a light soul
Eyes that are darker than a black hole,
Yet the soul shines brighter than the sunrise,
But don't be fooled, those eyes do pulverize,
They hypnotize a person and snatch their soul,
Leaving them helpless...

Possession of their soul they no longer control,
They wander deeper into the dark night,
Without a course,
Without a light,
Those eyes are truly a fatal snare,
Don't let down your guard,
Be fully aware,
For the light soul is just a mere disguise,
Waiting to take some random person by surprise,
Remember things are not always what they seem,
Even though they may appear supreme,
So don't fall for the light soul,
And those dark eyes,
Their goal is to make you believe their false lies...¦

I like the line "Yet the soul shines brighter than the sunrise,But don't be fooled, those eyes do pulverize"

Very vivid imagery there. Good job.

    Stained,
someimes, things bear need of repetition, and it adds to the deep emotions..

This was a good poem. Others may relate to this. This sounds like a guide, or actually a note. to tell a person not "to fall for the dark eyes" which is great.
