The End

by Bill Turner   Sep 1, 2008

Dangerous...like a caged animal
As darkness closes in...
The end bangs the door slowly...
Angel of darkness saying to me...nevermore
Like the lost raven...
I can hear the calling of the ghostly shore
When my time comes...I know...
Washed out to sea...like a pirate lost in lore
Bootstrap returning to a place I know...
Leaving behind all I love...
Such is life...
It was nice...
We die like we are borne...
Alone...If only honor will allow...
Naked...screaming...covered in blood...
The end...a new beginning
