Within sensations I flounder
Gasping in lungfuls
Though never gaining enough
Flailing as I sink
I shatter to pieces
Floating into streams of shadow
I break apart
The fragments dive into the abyss
Distancing themselves from the core
Separating faster
While I breathe in
Choking as I disappear in waves
Pummeled on all sides
Broken
While my movements slow
Eyes flutter shut
Hands fall open
Drifting further downward
Becoming apart of the dark
The pieces sink
I am claimed
