Moonlight lovers

by Robert Daniel Long   Sep 15, 2008

Dark is the night
Soft and warm
Is the touch
Of your skin

I watch you
Sleeping
Gently breathing
The night air

Fingers of moonlight
Dance across your body
Touching
Every curve

Highlighting the beauty
Thats you

The essence
Of your perfume
Permeates the dark
Giving
You a glow

As I touch you
You move closer
So I embrace you
Here in the moonlight

Loving
Holding
And touching you
Until the fading moonlight
Wakes us

And we're lovers no more

Until the moonlight
Dances our way
