I'll be there

by Robert Daniel Long   Sep 15, 2008

All the time
We spend alone together
Going to places
We've never been
Our spirits free to roam
But we never wonder
Far from home

Each moment I find
I learn to love you more
We experience each new horizon
To look
Deep into your eyes
To feel your thoughts
To feel your passions rise

I'll pick you up
When you've fallen
And hold you close

I'll be there
Each time you reach for me
I'll be there
When ever you need me most
I'll be there

As we grow together
And as we become best of friends
And as we become lovers
We'll search our souls
Knowing
Each and every day
Is a new beginning on life
A new beginning on love
The satisfaction of touching your face

I'll be there
Each time you reach for me
I'll be there
Even when you don't need me at all
I'll be there

Because for your love
No cost is to great
So remember
I'll be there
