Vein

by Cooper   Sep 20, 2008

Here comes the poison, my
gently beating heart,
through the bloody streets of
decaying consideration
of a kiss to complete the puzzle of suicide.

Growing on my tongue
the mildew remnant of another pair of lips
they fit so well, so delicious and young
bring them back together, love's lifeless eclipse
to arouse the lost memories of my brain.

Suck out my veins
through the holes of my pains ...
a girl made of tree roots
you are latching onto me
feeding,
siphoning,
like the veins of a curse
listen to sorrow; I was here first.

They match so perfect-ly
don't I know it, harmony?;
a lock on the thrashing chains you
feel forward in my blood
in pools on wet concrete living anew,
a birth rate in my veins. (that's what you felt)

Coloured green
sickness or madness
twisting the veins outside my body, crying,
inconsiderate,
scattered alive to be dead again, in the hollow veins;
coloured darker green, the blood is flying.

This skin's the horizon
my veins the clouds,
creeping, touching
sewed shut repeatedly to stop -
everything. From getting in.

    I am amazed by this one, very cleverly written. I am also fascinated by amount of passion which you put into your pieces. Only thing that I didn't like is rhyme crying-flying. But that is not important that much because you created a true masterpiece here, in my opinion. I could really feel your words, and each vivid picture is followed with strong emotions, I like that.
    Well done, you once again didn't fail to leave me speechless.
