Until i die

by resisting reason   Sep 25, 2008

I asked her to stay
So she was with me until I died
She sat next to me
And we both cried

And I remember
I didn't want to go
"I know baby"
"I know"

So she stayed
And held my hand
"I'll hold on forever"
"If I can"

"And even when you're gone
I'll still be here
Holding your hand
And drying you tears"

I keep these memories
Close to me
Because when I died
She was all I could see

But now I'm gone
And I miss her so much
I miss her voice
And I miss her touch

And although I'm not there
I'm still in her heart
I'll love her till she gets here
So we'll never be apart

Good stuff. the rhyming kind of made it lose a little of its effect because rhyming usually adds that rhythm that youre basically just waiting for. but i think you pulled it off well.
