Your Love

by Moose   Sep 26, 2008

Your love taught me happiness,
to smile and to laugh.
Your love taught me heartbreak,
Many tears on your behalf.
Your love brought me suffering,
fifty daggers to the brain.
Your love brought me wondering,
in all of this I feel disdain.
Your love was short and left me fast,
A cheetah in a race.
Your love was so promising,
but it was a lie right in my face.
