My Fall

by Melissa   Oct 6, 2008

Your heart

fell
from Fall to winters gelid mien
with such curt swiftness

as I alone

paused
for Autumns hue,
you-
were always one careful step away
from loves reach

seasons shifted
in your arms

yet mine still cannot shake
the hope
not yet ready
to drop

    Love moving at different speeds..

..it is no wonder when love can cost so much. Love of the sincere variety is given conmnected to sutures imbedded in that persons heart.

Depending whether that heart has heen through the wars will usually depend on how frreely and quickly that love is given, for there is much to risk when those sutures pop undone!!

    Well done
